What Valerie Q doesn't like about La Chapalita #2:
Very overpriced and fruit taste sour, I only came here because frutería canalés was closed . The lady's working gave off the impression they wanted us to leave and started cleaning they closed in (1hr 1/2) Overall if you want good fruit and better prices frutería canalés is way better. I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant due to the very slow service. I went in for a crepe, but it took a long time for someone to attend to me. After I placed my order, they later informed me that they were out of Nutella, which I wasn't aware of beforehand.
I strongly recommend trying the Fresas Con Crema, Sundaes, and Rusa. Each dish was outstanding and made for a wonderful dining experience!
Price per person: $1–10 Food: ★★★★★ Service: ★★★★★ Atmosphere: ★★★★★ Takeout is an absolute gem! With prices ranging from just $1 to $10 per person, it's an incredible value for the quality you receive. The food is fantastic, consistently earning a perfect score of 5; each dish is flavorful and satisfying. The service is equally impressive, with friendly and attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Lastly, the atmosphere is delightful, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal. Highly recommended!
The prices at this restaurant are quite steep, and the fruit we had was sour. I was only there because Frutería Canalés was closed. The staff appeared to be in a hurry for us to leave, as they began cleaning up an hour and a half before closing time. Overall, if you’re in search of better fruit and more reasonable prices, I would definitely recommend going to Frutería Canalés instead.
I ordered a large fruit mix and was really excited to enjoy it at home, especially since I’m seven months pregnant and planning to add some tajin. However, when I opened the box, I was hit with a terrible odor. I thought my pregnancy might be making me overly sensitive, so I took a bite, but I had to spit it out immediately because the fruit was spoiled. It was really disappointing because the smell was so overpowering that there's no way the staff could have missed it while preparing my order. I didn’t contact them about it because I don’t like confrontation, but I definitely won’t be coming back.
