We went here for a dinner one night on a family members recommendation. It was an excellent choice the food was good and the service was too. It is a burger pla... read more We went here for a dinner one night on a family members recommendation. It was an excellent choice the food was good and the service was too. It is a burger place but it isn't a Maccas or HJ's. You can eat in or takeaway, whichever is your preference, they have table service and the have alcoholic beverages too. We had an 8 year old with us and they had things for him to do too. On top of that the food was good and there were even vegetarian offerings as well. It was a win, win in that regard. I can recommend this place and I did note that it is a chain with locations in all states.

I grabbed some takeaway due to the recent lockdown and was impressed with the swift service. I highly recommend if you are vegan and are in the mood for a burger.

The Balaclava location is conveniently situated on the corner of Williams St and Carlisle St, just past the Train Station. The restaurant is always busy but well-serviced, with friendly staff and clean tables. There are plenty of burger options to cater to all tastes, including those with dietary restrictions. The sweet potato fries are a highlight, although the avocado chips may not be to everyone's taste due to the coating.
