The staff appeared to be unhappy and had really poor attitudes. I ordered pollo al pastor, but they informed me that it wasn't available, so I chose something else. Just as they were finishing up my condiments, a fresh batch of pollo al pastor came out. It was quite disappointing. I also ordered a plain barbacoa taco, but when they added the meat, they deliberately gave me less because I had mentioned earlier that they had said they were out of the meat I wanted, only for it to arrive moments later. The staff clearly didn't seem to care. I ended up returning the taco and had to settle for something I wasn't excited about. I won't be coming back.
Without the guac, the food didn't taste the same. I experienced the flavors of the meal for the first time without it masking everything. Unfortunately, the meat lacked flavor, the lettuce was chopped carelessly into large pieces, and the steak was tough, with a significant portion being inedible. Maybe I’m overreacting, but I can’t help feeling really upset—especially since I had been looking forward to this meal all day after a tough day already. I'm sure Chipotle will survive without my business, but I definitely won’t go back and will be sure to share my thoughts on the quality of the meat, especially at the Gosford location.
