Reviews summary
Was Amy Flinn at Doc's Bainbridge a mag?
We dined for lunch on Mother's Day, and while they provided a complimentary dinner for mothers, I opted for the deluxe bacon cheeseburger instead. It was fantastic! The food and the service from the staff were both outstanding! View all feedback.
What Tim Colburn dislikes about Doc's Bainbridge:
Considering the number of staff in both the kitchen and the serving area, the wait time was unreasonable. After waiting for more than an hour, we ultimately chose to leave without being served. We were not alone in this decision; several other tables also did the same. View all feedback.

We got our drinks right after being seated. I right away noticed a strange taste... After a few more sips it was clear the drinks had a chemical after taste. Maybe the glasses weren't rinsed properly? I planned to ask the waitstaff. However between placing our order, and leaving hungry nearly an hour had past. No word on why the kitchen was taking so long... There weren't really busy at all. If the kitchen had fallen behind, I would expect at least the waitstaff to mention it to us.Never (not eating) at this establishment again.
It used to be a good place to eat. On 2-18-2018 I took my 2 granddaughters there for dinner. I ordered shrimp and onion rings, my granddaughter's ordered a hamburger and a cheeseburger one with applesauce and one with french fries we had drinks. The hamburgers were over done the shrimp was cooked too long and the onion rings were mushy. I will never go back or tell anybody to go there and eat. The service was not all that good. I did not leave a tip. The hostess that seated us acted like we were not good enough to be there. I usually always take my family to Paxton's but they were closed. I thought I would try Docs. Never again. I will always go to Paxton's.

Our hash browns were cold and burnt somehow. Eggs were over cooked toast was cold We got our pork tenderloin After we ate everything else. Supposed to be sausage gravy but was some other watered down stuff. Service was very slow even though we were the only table. WILL NOT EAT THERE EVER AGAIN
Was till I seen my waiter eating her breakfast then serve my food without washing her hands. This place is going downhill quick waiters need to work on their customer service skills !
We stop for lunch while enjoying one of our day trips. Service was very good, food was too but the wait for our food was over 40 minutes. Bottom line food is worth the wait.
My husband went there for our very first time yesterday for lunch , before going on our hike up at Serpent Mound. This place wasn't too bad . I thought it was a little pricey , the server greeted us right away , which is great ! I explained to her that we've never been there before , that we would need a few minutes to look over the menu . She literally came back within 30 seconds , which wasn't enough time at all . I felt rushed because she stood there waiting for me to decide . I didn't appreciate that . We also ordered shrimp , got marinara sauce with it instead of cocktail . By time she come back with cocktail , we were ready to cash out . Besides that , food service wasn't nothing too bad . Wouldn't say it's my favorite place ! I think I rather continue to eat at Twin Dairy in bournville . ????

The food is good for a small town, and the staff is friendly, creating a nice atmosphere. I gave it 3 stars instead of 4 because the service is quite slow. Be prepared to wait around 30-45 minutes after placing your order. My suggestion to the owner is to find a way to speed up the ordering process. My wife and I ordered bacon and eggs with hash browns, which shouldn't take 45 minutes to prepare, even on a moderately busy morning.
If you're in the mood for burnt bacon and undercooked potatoes, this is the place for breakfast. Every table was occupied, not because we enjoyed the food, but due to the somewhat slow service. They earn 3 stars.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was not tasty, and it took between 45 minutes to an hour for our meals to arrive. They also seem to have a knack for overcooking dishes. I won’t be returning. Overall, it was a terrible experience.
I asked to speak with the chef, and I prefer to call her that because she clearly has an incredible understanding of food. She explained that the prime rib is marinated in her secret recipe for three days before being slow-roasted, and it was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Despite being full from our generous portions, we couldn’t leave without trying the homemade carrot cake, which was equally fantastic! The service was impeccable, and both the restaurant and restrooms were clean and inviting. We enjoyed the experience so much that we returned the next day while still in the area. Thursday’s special was broasted chicken or beef and noodles. My husband opted for the chicken, while I had the catfish, and it was just as delicious. This experience has shown me that stopping by a little restaurant can turn out to be a fantastic choice. We look forward to returning as often as we can. Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience!
