Subi is definitely my top choice for Japanese food in the Kitsap County area. I have tried sushi at other places, but Subi is unmatched. I have been to this restaurant several times and have never had a negative experience. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Subi Japanese:
the food was good, and the service was great. the great disappointment is that we have a reservation of 7:30 and the last call for eating was 15 minutes later. Typically, if we have sushi, we have several rounds of food. it would have been helpful to know when the reservation was made that we would be limited in time for ordering food. View all feedback.
This was an incredible experience. We made reservations for lunch to get the dine in experience and it was worth every penny and second. Thank you for the yummy food and making our children feel so special. We will return!
A good size Japanese restaurant with plenty of seatings inside. Due to COVID restriction, it's take out only at the moment. The restaurant does not have outdoor seating as it's in the strip mall building complex but the complex itself has outdoor garden where you could eat your sushi if you don't want to eat it inside your car. Plenty of choices in the menu, my avocado and eel roll was good size and yummy. Plenty of parking available and it's a few blocks from most of the shops and a couple of miles from the ferry dock.
Fresh and flavorful Japanese restaurant with excellent service
This was a destination restaurant for me and my coworkers, as we enjoy the night playing tourists in Seattle. We took the ferry over to Winslow, and it was a quick cab ride up the hill to Subi. We had a reservation, and since we were early we had to wait a few minutes for our table. Soon we were sitting near the front of the crowded dining room, it was definitely a busy Friday night. Our friendly waitress took the drink orders, and quickly returned with our selections. A group ordered everything from Sashimi to rolls to Ramen, with a couple of salads and of course miso soup as well. All was very good! Test the freshness you would expect at a good sushi place. The prices were a bit high, but then again Winslow is a little more upscale of a place and it is on an island. Enjoyed my hot sake, assorted tuna nigiri, Hamachi, and roll. If you go, get there early enough to give yourself time to explore the cute little town before you head back to the ferry.
Food was delicious and portions generous, fish was super fresh and the Gochujang had a nice kick.
