What Eugene Oh doesn't like about Ba Sa:
Things look much better than they taste. Overall, Ba Sa was disappointing. I made the trek over from Seattle to eat here and ordered the taro rolls, steak vermicelli noodles and ground pork stir fry. The vermicelli noodles were way overcooked and ruined the entire dish due to their mushy texture. The ground pork stir fry was a little better but the noodles were also overcooked and the dish was so incredibly salty. Th... View all feedback.
Shoyu garlic chicken was delicious! The Chinese sausage it comes with was almost candied in its texture, unique and savory! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Recommended dishes: Black Shoyu Garlic Chicken
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ba Sa restaurant, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. After a disappointing food experience at the Four Seasons hotel in Seattle, my expectations were not very high. However, Ba Sa completely blew me away with its exceptional food quality and flavors. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted warmly by the staff. While we did have to wait for a table, the wait was absolutely worth it. The food at Ba Sa is simply amazing. The Taro rolls, skewers, and Pho were all top-notch and the best I have ever tasted. Each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail, and you could truly taste the difference. One thing that impressed me was the speed at which the food was served. Despite the restaurant being busy, the staff managed to bring out our orders promptly. It was evident that they take pride in delivering excellent service to their customers. After a weekend of subpar dining at a supposedly five-star hotel, Ba Sa was a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in search of a truly remarkable dining experience. I cannot wait to return and bring along my family and friends to share in the delight of Ba Sa's incredible food.
Ba Sa is one of my favorite restaurants in PNW . A must go !
The food is decent but obviously overpriced. It's fair given that it's in a tourist area. However, the staff is not very accessible. We arrived at 11:00 a.m. (the restaurant just opened) and were the only customers there. The employees were more than customers, however they all stood there and ignored our request (we even kept waving our hands but got no response). It's frustrating given their price point is a bit high. I didn’t anticipated receiving this service.
