Fantastic bakery. Multi grain bread is delicious. Bought extra to take home for the freezer. Also coffee and fresh pastries are super fresh. They even heated our pastry in a wood fired clay oven. Very cool. View all feedback.
What Wilfred Wong doesn't like about Boulangerie À Chacun Son Pain Baie-st-paul (a Chacun Son Pain):
Food was ok, but the service was TERRIBLE. They were annoyed that I could not speak French, insisted I tip and got upset when I refused. Then as we sat to eat, they spoke in French Why are these chinese people going all the way here and not know French I know they said this as some in our group spoke fluent French. Would NEVER come here again and will let everyone I know about this place. View all feedback.

Great food, but really rude server. She lectured me on “Trying to speak French” that people will respond better to me if I at least say “ Bonjour”. I told her I did say Bonjour and the. I politely asked is someone speaks English as I don’t speak French (I didn’t go to school in Canada, I’m an immigrant and live in Toronto). The worst part was that she decided but was her right to lecture me I front of other people and make me feel badly for not being able to speak French. I paid and left as quickly as I could. I won’t be going back. I guess my question is for a town that is supported in large part by tourism, is this really how the owners of this Boulangerie want their patrons to feel. If not, you should make sure your staff understand how to politely treat patrons of all backgrounds.
Excellent Ciabatta Eggs and Cheese grated in a wood oven. Recommended!!
Very rude shop staff pretended not to understand us got our order totally wrong. Not helpful at all. I will say the roll and soup were ok but our experience soured a nice day. Would never go back.
