Contribute Feedback What Lewis Ratke likes about St. Marc Cafe:
The place is cozy, and it is clean. It is well lighted (not too bright, not too dark). I like they way they have their food presentation in front of their restaurant (see pictures).
I ordered Carbonara (P300.00, no service charge). It's so creamy and saucy. The egg yolk will make the rich sauce to turn into yellow-orange color. I like it. It's delicious that the bacon strips complements the creamy suace. I find it... View all feedback.
What Rusty Stamm doesn't like about St. Marc Cafe:
I love absolutely everything about St.Marcs this is one of the few places where they can buy tinted pastes. it is rich and somewhat oily on a good wise. they have the most beautiful baked varieties, although the limited possibilities they have available daily. I love how crispy the flocky bake remains, even if they let them sit for a long time, especially the custard cream, my favorite. Apart from the popular chococr... View all feedback.
Ordered carbonara, black ink squid pasta, choco cro, mt fiji. A bit disappointed with the black pasta. Walang lasa gano. Desserts are ok. I just find their round table uncomfortable. Ang liit for 2 persons
Okay, so let's see the breakdown of my 3.0 for St. Marc Cafe at SM City North EDSA. I actually had already been to St. Marc Cafe in SM Megamall in Ortigas, and for me, it was the typical hipster cafe, not that it's a bad thing ;) Their food is okay... BUT... the menu is a little bit lacking on details. For starters, I ordered the "Carbonara", which was when served, had a half-cooked yolk on top... not that I didn't like it... but it said on the menu, "Carbonara", nothing else. What I expected from the pasta that I bought was just pasta with white sauce and bacon. But it had an egg yolk on top... which may or may not be a good innovation, though it didn't actually taste bad. So maybe they just wanted to spice things up a little... but imagine if the person who ordered his/her Carbonara didn't like eggs... and then they'll just be surprised right when the pasta is served that there's an egg yolk on top of their pasta. See my point? For the drinks, I ordered their Strawberry Frappe, and it was quite nice. Not very special. My manager (who was with me at the time) ordered the Choco Banana Frappe, wherein she described the chocolate used in the frappe to be too fine... and does not stand out at all, compared to other chocolate frappes in the market. The ambiance was nice, similar to Megamall. Dark and earthy tones all around... plastic samples also of their food can be seen around their cafe, which is good for showcasing their menu. During dining though, we experienced the following: 1. Pasta (or viands) was served first before coffee (which we thought was a little weird since drinks should come first). 2. Fingerprints can be seen on the plate surrounding the dish (pasta), which is a little unsettling, but bearable to some, maybe. That's about it. Overall a 3.0 since we enjoyed the food naman, though not sure for others if they experience the same thing we did :3

I love this place. Perfect place to.hangout with friends and family for coffee and dessert. Great wifi connection. I was able to work at this place while waiting for my kids. Lighting is just perfect to make me feel relaxed. tweenselmom.com
My cousins and I ordered 4 ice cream desserts today. The server served 3 and I was the lucky one that had to wait. I waited 15 minutes for my ice cream because its either their ice cream maker broke or they ran out of ice cream. However, the worst part of the whole situation was that NONE OF THE STAFF BOTHERED TO TELL ME THAT MY ICE CREAM WOULD BE DELAYED, NOT EVEN THEIR MANAGER! THEY DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO SAY "SORRY FOR THE DELAY" ONCE THEY FINALLY SERVED MY DESSERT. I've been to my fair share of restaurants and this is the first time that my food was delayed with no staff notifying me about the problem in the beginning or at least acknowledging that my order was delayed in the end. I think the staff should be re-trained on their customer service, especially their manager. I didn't even finish my dessert because I was so annoyed by the lack of customer service displayed by the staff.
