I really loved this place! large seafood dishes al the way. the risotto with tomato, moaning and moaning was phenomenal, like the bounced thunfisch. also for children, they made spaghetti with to Atoa sauce (not on the menu). do not miss the house red wine, a chinti. best. View all feedback.
I myself and partner stumbled over osteria di giogo on a late evening after a long day travel. we were greeted with a relaxed atmosphere and fantastic dining! the menu is handwritten, small; and as expected in the toskana everything is made to home and...delicious great value for money! look at the photos!
Found by ta and I was so happy that this restaurant (in contrast to most other Tuscan restaurants on the land) served fish as I rarely eat meat. the menu was all in Italian, but the waiter was very helpful and very friendly. I chose the garnel as starter and crowded thunfisch as main. wow! never had it like this: the crust was grilled mandel and the inner was rare as thunfish should be! it is a very simple restaurant with a small terrace and bright lights, but I highly recommend it! and we will go back safely; they have enough exciting dishes to choose from!
The second time that we have eaten in this restaurant and it will be just better. Chef alessio and his lovely wife angela lead a small but upper kerbe osteria and now, as the weather has heated up, there are some tables in a...small courtyard in the back, so that the atmosphere is intimate and al fresco. absolutely delicious! my man had a version of the Tuscan panzanella, where the cook added garnelen and served him warm divinely. our main courses were the thunfish with a dried fruit crust and Pinot reduction, served with brewed spring onions and the deep sea kingfish with smoked speck and sparing. speechless. it is unbelievable how each court was an art work, even visual. Simple ingredients grown, caught and produced locally, which in the hands of this young and talented chef, become an ethereal toscan experience.
Traveling on the autobahn through italia, we were looking for a great place to take a break and have a good lunch. tripadvisor has made our day by proposing this almost osteria! very friendly and upcoming explanation of the menu (only in Italian) and preparation for special meal times for. our children. we had homemade pasta, seafood and meat and it was all delicious! Do not forget to leave some room for the desert as this is another culinary experience of this small and excellent osteria in ponte a ema.
Scrumptious food, friendly, exceptional service. Family atmosphere! First experience , from years ago, was long lasting. I will return, every time I am in the area and I recommend this place to all of my friends.
