I have been coming to verbier for quite a few years now and this has quickly become my favourite restaurant and bar. The food is absolutely delicious (truffle tartiflette!? . For me it’s probably Verbier’s most ‘foodie’ option. It’s a modern take on mountain cuisine without being stuffy. You can tell the quality of the ingredients and produce is amazing. And the desserts...wow. The bar upstairs is exactly was verbier was missing someone cosy and stylish to enjoy a negroni. The service is very friendly and relaxed and the clientele is cool. Bonus the farm club is just next door so this is great for pre dinner before heading there. A must in verbier.

One of my favourite spots in Verbier for dinner. Cozy and romantic atmosphere, great and friendly service (and wine list great local wines and the sommelier knows her stuff), and extremely good food (and big portions). Maybe a bit pricey but totally worth it A must do in Verbier! And don’t forget to go the bar upstairs for a pre (or post) dinner drink amazing cocktails!

I had a 2-night stay at the experimental chalet, and how can I tell you that it was a great experience. Whether it's the hotel staff who take great care: the bar team who are exceptional, creative cocktails such as hot cold (a mulled wine iced version to die for), the reception always available 24/7, the team at the spa (the frozen bath experience is a must try) as well as the service at the restaurant where the food is very good and the portions are generous. I find nothing to complain about, we feel good, every detail has been carefully thought out which makes the aesthetic of the hotel very pleasant. The shuttles which circulate throughout Verbier. I would come back to try the Farm Club next time. Bravo to this charming establishment close to the cable cars and long life to the Experimental Chalet

Nice hotel. Small room for skiing equipment. Weak breakfast. Good staff. But I wouldn’t call it a four star hotel

I stayed 6 days at the Experimental Chalet with my partner. Overall we had a good experience minus the last few days. We had booked a jacuzzi session, after which I was coughing severely and haphazardly for the rest of the night, along side water eyes. My partner and I both had 3rd degree burns on our genital areas after the use of the jacuzzi which seemed to be 90% potent chlorine and 10% water. Not only did the chlorine burn us, it changed the color of all my rings and even the color of our bikinis. I understand it’s called the “Experimental Chalet” however I didn’t expect it to be a lab rat. After informing the manager, she offered me creams from the spa . Later I had to negotiate a massage which was great, so thank you Laura. Lastly at breakfast, 3 days in a row the staff seemed unable to bring a simple sunny side up to my partner as he requested. Then on the last day we had to ask 3 times for pouched eggs with avocado and when delivered the server had the audacity to tell us to order earlier because they had to reopen the kitchen for an order we had made 30mins before the kitchens closure abysmal service, if you ask me. From the location and hotel I expected a lot more unfortunately.
