Waiters were extremely helpful and polite and did their best to accomodate us, but after getting two portions of the most expensive meat on the menu, we were ex... read more Waiters were extremely helpful and polite and did their best to accomodate us, but after getting two portions of the most expensive meat on the menu, we were extremely disappointed.The meat was hard and chewy, as a result we sent both plates back but ended up paying the full price.Even though we made our comments to the manager he never accepted it, or offered to take the dish back to the kitchen and discuss it with the chef.His response was we have served it many times and never had problems I doubt it! Never going back again

We were told that the first line on the cr... read more We went for a late lunch at the Cuckoo's Nest yesterday. Food and service were fine until it came to paying the bill. We were told that the first line on the credit card machine was for tips. I said tips are included in Switzerland, to which the reply was they are not and certainly not in that restaurant.It has been law since the 1970's that service is included in the menu price in Switzerland and there is no obligation to leave any extra. HOWEVER most people round up or leave a small amount (max5% . It is strange that certain tourist establishments still try to trick the public!!!!
