We were in Baeza for the day and found this restaurant by accident, it had an English menu so it made it easier for us to choose, we enjoyed a dish of beef chee... read more We were in Baeza for the day and found this restaurant by accident, it had an English menu so it made it easier for us to choose, we enjoyed a dish of beef cheeks and chicken with vegetables along with a few glasses of good wine. The lunch was very good and we would go again if back in Baeza. It was a warm day so we sat out on the terrace.

A cool caña, with a free tapa of course, followed by a partridge pâté (a local specialty) were just what I needed before moving on. Service was efficient and friendly and the setting could not have been more delightful.

The calamari was exceptional, the clams a bit too salty, the shrimp were good...but obviously came from a frozen bag. The steak was awesome! 5 stars for the service, but 4 stars for the price versus quality.
