The hour egg with truffle sauce was perfect... read more Food fantastic, service catastrophic Today I was at Seeli in Bäch for the first time and was thrilled with the food. The hour egg with truffle sauce was perfect and tasted divine. The fish platter with various Swiss fish was delicious, the dough was nice and crispy. The tartar and garlic sauce tasted great. Everything was perfect here. What unfortunately cannot be said about the service: inattentive, careless and not really friendly. You didn 't really feel cared for. A smile now and then would have been nice. I don 't think I was ever smiled at once during the 3 hours. And every time a bottle (whether wine or water) was empty, we had to ask for more. No active selling on the part of the service, no questions, nothing. The second bottle of wine was simply refilled without us being able to taste it. Even if it had a screw cap, a wine can always have defects other than cones . Someone who works in service should know this. Our feelings were very mixed: Should we eat here again (because the food was so good) or not (because we 'd be happy to avoid this lousy service)? It 's a shame for the kitchen that the service can 't keep up.
