This restaurant was recommended to us by the host of the hotel we were staying at in Badia. He was nice enough to make a reservation for us, as the owner does not speak English, but one of the family members does. We were excited to get a taste of the local cuisine and the experience did not disappoint. Not a typical restaurant, as you will be seated in small dining room at the families working farm. They have a set menu with 5 courses which included, a speck and ricotta plate, barley stew with fried sauerkraut and spinach dumplings, ricotta and spinach raviolis, polenta and goulash, and fried apple fritters for dessert. The meal was fantastic, each course more delicious than the last. This is the place to go for a hearty home cooked meal made and served by a family who is proud of their culture and cuisine. A must visit!
