Badenweiler is not part of the gastronomic high castles in Baden-Württemberg. the district of Schweighof, a few kilometers outside of badenweiler, not at all. b... read more Badenweiler is not part of the gastronomic high castles in Baden-Württemberg. the district of Schweighof, a few kilometers outside of badenweiler, not at all. but hidden, at the end of a side street, the caffe is rematt. the wetin helga has been running it for several decades and so it looks. but in positive sense. the facility is loving, cozy and authentic. in berlin you would probably confuse the caffe with a museum, maybe it would also be a hotspot of the Baden Hipster-Legion.The name caffe only partially meets it. because the neumatt is an extraordinary restaurant. helga prepares everything fresh and self-handed. try the always fresh late zle - sensational! a juicy carving and you go happy to house. this time we were there on the 2nd Christmas day, there was a menu with gans. gans quite excellent! a four-course menu without any loss. including the supplements everything super. I was an old fish-kopp who was still afraid of the fan-soup because I thought that sounds kind of like inners. but then the first spoon: delicious this suppe, zero finished products, all handmade. to the gans was also handed over to dreamy noodles and apfel- and Maronen-Kompott. also handmade is the black forest kirschtorte, for which only the abstecher is worth the new mat.
