Contribute FeedbackThe Rasthaus and Motel Baden-Baden is located on a strong and popular exit, right next to the popular and appreciated highway church, which shapes the place like a pyramid. Here, coaches and private cars like to keep so much operation. The resting house and motel is quite lively and somewhat confusingly divided into different segments, which however merge into one another coffee bar with seating, dining area, children's country, souvenir shop, small supermarket, departure to the toilets... I have observed several people who no longer found the exit or their group. On trips to the South Black Forest or to the Europapark Rust I regularly stop at this resthouse, sometimes eat some light or drink a coffee or buy me a snack. Yesterday I was on the bus with a travel group, so that only a short stop was planned and only time was for a coffee. The coffee bar is located in the back of the building and is well staffed. At the self-service counter you can place your order and choose among a variety of coffee specialties (cafe cream, cappuccino, espresso etc. – all in about 3 different sizes, either in porcelain cups or in a cardboard cup, which you can also take with you). Prices are not very cheap, and you will be served quickly and concentrated. My “medium” coffee cost 3.70 euros, unfortunately there was only fresh milk, no coffee cream, which I personally prefer. On request, you can order small snacks in this area, such as horns or roasted panini. You sit on wooden benches on long wooden tables or on small diocese with four armchairs each. Despite the high frequency of visitors, the place always looks clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the noise level here is relatively high. The toilets are located in the UG and can be reached via a staircase (unfortunately there are no barrier-free accessible toilets found). They are unfortunately paid (70 cents) as at almost all resting stations, but this can be redeemed during the next consumption. I haven't tested the attached motel yet, but I would recommend the resting house in itself at any time. In front of the building there is a fitness playground where you can enjoy well.
