I had the salad with goat cheese, which cost a hefty 15 euros, which would be perfectly fine for a well-made salad. Contrary to the Google reviewers' photos, the salad consisted exclusively of pickled vegetables and contained no fresh components. For example, there was no leaf lettuce included. Even the cucumbers were obviously brined... I've never experienced anything like that. The restaurant may not have been prepared for salads to be ordered when we visited. For me, that's the only plausible explanation for why the salads in the reviewers' photos look significantly better than what was served to me (I have to mention that only 3 tables were occupied that evening, so you can't really attribute this to too high a capacity utilization . But if that is the case, you have to say very clearly that something like this should be communicated transparently, instead of selling pickled vegetables to the customer as a fresh salad for 15 euros. The next point was the last straw for us, which is why I took the time and wrote this review: The salad was ordered with yogurt dressing, I received a simple vinegar and oil dressing. This isn't a big deal, mistakes can happen as long as they are addressed and the error is corrected accordingly. After we complained about the dressing, we received the yogurt dressing quickly, but when we paid we discovered that it was charged extra, i.e. on top of the salt. Unfortunately, you can't give more than one star when you behave like that towards the customer. Maybe it will do something for you ; Conclusion: We will definitely not come here again. We can only advise against a visit! Addendum: I have just read through the other worse reviews about the Herzlich restaurant here on Google and I am sometimes really shocked at how the restaurant treats the reviewers. Legal consequences are often threatened instead of accommodating the customer and offering compensation. This is not a fair review, shame on you.
