We highly recommend the roasted pork with fried potatoes. The dessert was also delicious! The beer is fresh and cold. If you're looking for something to fill your stomach and enjoy a drink in Bad Schandau, I highly recommend this place! Shoutout to the chef, you truly did a magic trick

The steak wasn't a s... read more I don't recommend this place at all. The amount of food isn't enough to satisfy a normal appetite, even though the price is extremely high. The steak wasn't a steak, but a completely ordinary meatball that didn't even remotely resemble a steak. The salad was simply thoughtlessly mixed vegetables that weren't tasty in any combination (it might have tasted good with dressing or sauce, but it didn't have any). The food, even in its present state, tasted mediocre to bad. The service was awful. If a table hasn't been cleared yet, you still have to stand unnecessarily in front of it and aren't even allowed to sit down, even though the restaurant is full. The waiters took a long time to bring the food because they apparently forgot who ordered it and had to ask others first. I don't know if the waiters are just guessing what the table ordered, but the bill showed more than I had ordered. If I hadn't checked, I would have paid considerably more without even ordering it. A new receipt isn't created, but rather written in a random place without crossing out the nonexistent orders or the incorrect amount. I strongly advise avoiding this place; you'll only be disappointed, especially for the price you pay. EDIT TO THE REPLY TO MY REVIEW: It was explicitly stated in parentheses when describing a beefsteak that it was a steak made from beef, and there was absolutely no mention of a meatball. I have no idea how it's stated on the website, but that's how it was stated on the premises. As a consumer, I don't really care how expensive meat is these days. If it says it's made from beef, it should be made from pure beef. It would be very unpleasant for people with intolerances if something like that were omitted. The price is absolutely unreasonable, because for the same price, I actually ate a high-quality steak, and at a very good restaurant. It can't be right that a mini portion with the wrong dish costs almost €20. That's completely disproportionate and excessive. This place is overpriced due to its location and doesn't deserve the crowds. Especially since many leave feeling very unsatisfied with their food. I've noticed this, and it's unfair to advertise it like this here. The fact that someone actually sat down and tried to discuss my honest answer with me is sad. How run-down must this place be? . I won't comment further than to say that my menu was exactly the same as it was on the spot. I don't really want to be rude, but if there's an employee who really enjoys responding to all the bad reviews and tries to be rude, that doesn't bode well for the place, does it? Feel free to read other responses to bad reviews, or it's good to read the others that aren't related but address the same issues. I've refuted every argument, but unfortunately, I lack proof for the latter. I just wanted to have a peaceful vacation, and therefore won't show up anywhere. I'm not taking the time for that; I'm staying away from the place, just like others should. P.S. It's pretty cheeky of you to combine two reviews here for no reason. That shouldn't concern you, and I'm glad to have nothing more to do with it. I won't be responding to any further comments; it's nice of you to waste your time on this instead of relaxing.
