A great gem of a holiday apartment, right in the middle of some fantastic hiking trails, yet very accessible by car and a few minutes' drive to amenities in Bad Reichenhall. We stayed in one of the smaller apartments, which was absolutely perfect for a couple. The place is very clean, spacious, recently renovated and has all facilities that you might require for a lengthier stay. The kitchen was well equipped and has the most wonderful view over the valley. We had the friendliest welcome from our hosts and our landlord's mother could not do enough to help us. In fact, she even very kindly laundered our outdoor clothes. The quality, service and location of Jodlbauer are simply excellent and we are looking forward to staying here again in the summer months!
A really nice place to stop after a long hike. The food is excellent and the owners are very friendly.
Unfortunately closed... I miss it :´ Before, I felt like this: It's always beautiful up here. After a short climb, you reach the rustic Kugelbach farmhouse, with delicious food and a beautiful view. When it's raining and cold, the tiled stove is always nice and warm, and when the weather's nice, you can enjoy the sun at the edge of the meadow.
Beautiful location. Great panoramic views, delicious food (we had spinach dumplings and Kaiserschmarrn).
We were there yesterday...it was closed...which wasn 't a problem for us... But a thunderstorm and rain were coming...and it was already storming really hard. We wanted to take shelter, which the elderly lady didn 't like. She got out of the car when we asked nicely. She said we were closed. We already knew that...we could read. I told her we were just taking shelter because of the storm. We turned the corner, and the door opened. The lady came out and said, You can start walking...taking shelter wouldn 't help, it 'll only take 10 minutes to get down. We knew it would take longer, since we had already walked up. But she stood steadfastly in front of the door and insisted we keep walking. Eventually, it got on our nerves and we started walking, and lo and behold...the door was closed. Thanks for not helping us during the thunderstorm...we won 't be eating anything here.
