The gyro was substandard, and the appetizers were all unseasoned and surprisingly tasteless.

The two of us, without a reservation, managed to get a table easily at 7:30... read more Today (September 14, 2025) I ate at the Greek restaurant Hellas for the first time. The two of us, without a reservation, managed to get a table easily at 7:30 PM, even though the place was busy. The owner personally greeted us right away and showed us choice tables. He handled the entire service himself and always had a funny joke ready. A super-nice person who definitely does his job with passion. Very polite and accommodating. Within 29 minutes, our ordered food was in front of us. Beautifully presented; the side salad arrived much earlier. All in all, we spent a good 1.5 hours in this quaint, cozy restaurant and paid €51.90 for two meals, salads, and two large drinks. We were both completely satisfied and will definitely eat there again soon. A definite restaurant recommendation from us!!! A thoroughly deserved 5-star rating!!!
