The ambiance leans toward a classic small-town café, but the food is fantastic. Their homemade cakes are a definite highlight. I particularly enjoyed the Texas Toast, which was perfectly baked and grilled to my liking. The honey mustard is the best I’ve ever tasted, and I often see the woman ordering the chicken strip basket so she can dip her strips in it. Breakfast is prepared the way Grandma would make it, and there’s always a daily special to look forward to. The convenience store offers a typical selection of snacks, drinks, hot food, and other everyday essentials. The gun store, on the other hand, has an impressive inventory: guns, shotguns, handguns, ammunition, firearm accessories, knives, and other hunting gear. If you’re in the area and have an interest in firearms, it’s definitely worth a visit. They also have live bait and a variety of fishing supplies available.
