The homemade chorizo , barbecued, a delight. And the burgers … the soft grain bread, steak stuffed with cheese .. we had a great time and we absolutely recommend
The food was great, and the service is perfect! There is no AC (pretty normal to Mexico), but they do have a ventilation, so it's ok My overall experience was great! I recommend visiting this restaurant (I've been there twice) P.S. If there was an AC I would rate the atmosphere 5 stars, but it's not a deal breaker
Overall very happy with the experience. We tried calling first to make sure they were open and no one answered the phone, plus very few Facebook posts. Decided to go check it out anyway. The service was prompt and very accommodating to everything we asked for. We hoped to try the Cowboy but they were out that night. We choose the arrachera and ribeye instead. Both were happy with the selections. The chef came out several times to personally speak with us and appeared to truly be passionate about his work, which almost always delivers a solid product. Will definitely be back during our next Bacalar visit.
Don’t miss this place! My fiancé and I are meat lovers and are very picky with our food, this is the best meal we had in our 3 weeks Mexico vacation! We took the cowboy steak, it was juicy and made to perfection (we asked for medium-rare and it was done accurate) with lovely service. Highly recommended!!
My 12 year old daughter and I split the arrachera plate which was delicious. I also had some meszcal that was very good. The only drawback besides being cash only was that they had run out of their desserts (much to my daughter's chagrin). Oh lastly, be sure you know how to speak Spanish (I know this review was done in English). In general most people do not speak English in Bacalar. All in all a good spot.
