The staff are friendly and helpful you need a big appetite if your having a dessert but all worth the money .
Fantastic carvery at the chestnut and I love the mars attack cake
Took a dear friend of mine to the Chestnut for a birthday treat on Tuesday morning we had the coffee and cake deal and the cakes were amazing as always. Also had the pleasure of meeting the new manager Josh who was very polite and welcoming we shall definitley be returning and highly recommend
Lovely friendly service, food very good, and cake amazing
Went in to have some dinner, table was still a bit damp but at least it was wiped. They were doing a carvary roast dinner ,and a normal menu. We had food off a normal menu. We had halloumi ,chicken strips, portion of chips, garlic bread, and the chicken. Schnitzel I enjoyed mine. My daughter found two hairs one on the chicken strip and one on the halloumi, Fry 's, so that wasn 't enjoyable and we asked for two diet cokes and we got two Dr peppers instead, I felt like I was in a retirement home and we were the youngest people, in there having dinner. Not a nice atmosphere and I 'm sure , carvary roast dinners went out in the '80s but overall 3 out of 10. Not a good experience at all
