Waterside Events - b

My brother surprised all his family at his 60th. Birthday celebration and treated us all (14 of us). That was great in itself, but the place, the service and the food were so amazing. I had 2 cosmos and we ordered the seafood plate for appetizers. The shells, oysters, crab meats and shrimps were so fresh . . .. and speaking of the shrimps I have never seen before. My entrée was the special Veal Chop with garlic mash. OMG! Delicious! And the piece was big enough to satisfy a cave man. Dessert was fabulous and the staff was so attentive and accommodating. I recommend the Waterside for any event.

We had the pleasure, the sweet 16th. birthday of my cousin on Waterside last Friday. We were on the second floor and had about 116 guests. The view from the second floor was absolutely stunning and nothing less breathtaking. We decided not to have an alcohol option (open/cash bar, wine, etc., which made some guests hesitate first. For these guests, however, there was a bar downstairs and this view of the NYC skyline was just about everything. Shantal was great and very accommodating. Their expertise showed the entire process from our request to the end of the event. Since our event was on a Friday night in NJ (center of the rush hour) everyone was late. Shantal, however, knew how to complete the order of events to keep the event in time. Our guests took care of the food. Steak was easy to eat and chicken melted in the mouth. Everyone cooked the salmon perfectly. We had some guests who were vegetarian and vegan. Although we fell a bit short with the vegan guest, there were still vegetarian options available. The cost of Waterside Restaurant Catering is definitely not a low-end option, but it was worth every penny.

Waterside is a great place to celebrate every special event. Good drinks, great food and a look at death!!!!

Shantal, Miguel, Lesley, Gus!!! You guys rocked it for us. Everything went smoothly a few hiccups but to be expected. It certainly outweighed the perfection of our day and we cannot thank you enough. Our family and friends who flew in were so impressed with your food, service, location, and the unbelievable skyline.
