**Restaurant Review: The Azle Cafe Experience**
Nestled in a charming local spot, Azle Cafe offers a mixed bag of experiences for diners. While some patrons praise the friendly staff and inviting atmosphere, others have expressed disappointment with food quality and service speed, especially during busy times. Common complaints include cold dishes and order inaccuracies, though some guests have enjoyed standout meals like the oatmeal and club sandwich. Despite inconsistent reviews, a loyal customer base appreciates the cafe's heartwarming vibe and the dedication of its staff. For those seeking a local eatery, Azle Cafe remains a noteworthy option, yet experiences may vary.

The staff was extremely friendly, and I definitely didn't leave feeling hungry. The portion sizes were generous. I dined in for breakfast, and the price per person was reasonable, around $10–20. I would rate the food a perfect 5, along with the service and atmosphere, also a perfect 5. I highly recommend the Hash Browns, Biscuits and Gravy, and Chicken Strips.

This is one of my favorite spots for breakfast and lunch in Azle, especially for home-cooked meals! Today, I noticed they’ve introduced new menus and updated their pricing for the first time in a long while—possibly forever. I'm glad, as I felt their prices were a bit too low for quite some time. The new prices seem much more reasonable now. There’s ample parking, and the staff is friendly, treating everyone like family. They have plenty of tables for larger groups and cozy booths along the walls. There are daily specials, but I often find myself here on meatloaf day, even though I'm not a huge fan of meatloaf in general. They offer a salad bar for lunch and dinner, featuring typical salad options. Today, I had a burger and fries for lunch, along with unsweetened iced tea. I appreciate the tea here because it tends to be stronger than at most places. The burgers are always visually appealing and delicious, and I enjoy the atmosphere created by the staff.
One star is being generous. The staff was friendly, but that was about the only positive. I stopped in for breakfast and was disappointed—my toast was stale, and I ordered whole wheat but received white instead. The eggs were cold by the time they reached the table, and the ham was mostly fat. The hash browns were decent but only warm, not hot. My husband's biscuit was also stale, and everything else was just as disappointing—cold and stale. Maybe they were having an off day, but regardless, I won't be returning.
