We had heard about this place as it's below a very good English bookstore (Volcano). It's recently opened up more to the public, has a very good American menu (burgers, fries and excellent onion rings). What Adriana Herrero doesn't like about American Legion Post 2:

Extensive menu of cocktails. Bartender knows how to properly make martinis. Chill lounge experience.
The chef has the truth american taste in his hands, the burgers are the best ones, this is the perfect place for enjoy a beer and watch finals or playoffs, in thanksgiving they have special menu, oftenly as american holidays happen the offer some events...like BBQs or DJ-nights.

The decor ranges from pre-deco paint and plaster with relief cherubinos on the ceiling, to photos and flags of the American Legion. It's been open since and we hope it sticks around a lot longer. Do stop by and take a very well-priced drink! Oh and I hear there is brunch on Sundays.
