We were looking for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and found this place by chance.... read more We happened on this restaurant by chance driving on the A1 from Nazare to Evora. We were looking for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and found this place by chance. It was packed with local people. The wait was not long (it is a large restaurant). They had menus in English and other languages, and one or two of the waitstaff spoke English. The owner met us and welcomed us, and the staff were ready to explain the food and show us menu items. The food was delicious! I had grilled octopus. It is not expensive and they have a good selection of local beer and wine. Highly highly recommend for the food and for an authentic Portuguese experience.

I'll be back to enjoy good seafood at decent prices. The place is small... but the service is welcoming
