Coutts Commercial Tavern - Ayr

All the staff were very nice, welcoming and friendly. Nice little tavern. Great food and plenty of it, and prices reasonable. I would of given this place 5 stars but there was a bad smell to the place I nearly didn't stay but it was only in part of the pub, thankfully. If they got rid of that smell it would be one of the best pubs I've been to through out Australia. I will go back though and see if that smell is any better as could of been just an off day.

My two friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the food at this restaurant! The chefs did an excellent job. It was definitely worth the money and we would be happy to eat here again. The staff were friendly and the service was fast. We had a great experience dining in. Thank you very much!

I went for a 70th birthday celebration for my sister-in-law. They chose the $18 each smorsboard for the occasion. It was very good and everything was plentiful . We were well seated together and we all managed to move around after the meal to socialise with family and friends.

Went there on a Saturday night for dinner, I ordered the 600g rump steak from the chefs suggestions board for myself and 2 others. It was cooked to perfection and melt in your mouth. Dessy

We came to dinner last Wednesday. The new booking system was in its teething stages but staff were happy to assist and made it known from the beginning it was new and helpful criticism was welcomed so they can improve for next time. I would like to make special note of one staff member in particular, Janelle. She was amazing. Always smiling, each time I looked up she was helping someone different, and made sure everything was running smoothly. Our 4 year old asked to go back another day to see the nice lady who gave him sprinkles on his ice cream. Will be back again.
