Unlike many... read more I was welcomed with a friendly smile and ran into an old high school friend, which made the experience even better. The food here is genuinely good! Unlike many so-called “popular” restaurants, they don’t use canned collard greens or store-bought potato salad; they actually clean the collards and peel the potatoes themselves! Everything was seasoned perfectly, though I did add a packet of sugar to my potato salad for extra flavor. The prices are very reasonable, and the chicken tasted like my late Aunt Mattie made it—it was a definite win for me!
