Description

Tucked away in Axminster, this café offers a mixed bag of experiences for diners. While some patrons rave about the delicious food and friendly service, others express disappointment over high prices and underwhelming dishes, such as bland soups and lackluster coffee. The ambiance is inviting, with a cozy atmosphere and ample parking, making it a potential stop for those seeking a light meal or a coffee break. However, concerns about value for money have led some customers to seek alternatives nearby. Overall, it presents itself as a charming yet inconsistent spot worth exploring if you’re in the area.

Now this is easy to miss, despite 3 entrances! friendly and good value for money, socially or for a business meeting. highly recommended

The cafe wasn't very busy yet my experience left me feeling like I had been overcharged. Next time, I will make the longer drive to Seaton Junction for the source of the coffee or to the Grazing Cow for a locally sourced breakfast, as the quality and value for money seem to be better there compared to this cafe. It's disappointing that I won't be returning to support this local business.

The fish finger sandwiches, avocado and scrambled egg, and burger were all exceptional, as were the milkshakes and fries. Though slightly pricey, the quality justifies the cost. The service was prompt and welcoming.
