This is a relaxing and warm restaurant that they feel like home. the host is such a nice guy, we think he cooked something too! the menu is hard to understand, not only because it is French, but also because it is. a mixture of Vietnamese and Thai. However, with the help of a kind of local to get some nice dishes, we recommend their equivalent to an early roll. they get no load meat, more sweet based. very cheap. we will have come back
The Cambodian owner of this restaurant was very sweet and helpful. The Thai food we had was just average, but if you want something other than French or fast food, consider giving it a go.
So glad that we tried this gem of a restaurant in the town of Avranches. Whilst we love french cuisine it was such a refreshing change to eat Asian food. We particularly enjoyed lovely stir fried vegetables in a very tasty sauce. Definitely a restaurant...to return to in the near future.
Very nice eating and incredibly friendly staff. if they are Thai, Chinese, Asian, they will be more than satisfied.
We stayed a night near avranches after a day in mont st michel and decided to try celastine (we had first tried le hanoi but they said it was completely booked but not a person in the restaurant.) the restaurant was quite unimaginable, but. we had seen the good travel advisers reviews. the waiter/saurateur could not have been more friendly, smiling or polite. we ordered suppe and dimme sum to begin and mainly bark and huh with rice. the food was obviously freshly cooked and the restaurant had the feeling to be invited to someone's house for tee, it was very secret and eating too, but still tasty and with much care about it taken. nice to eat in France something that hasn't wrapped bread or pastries or cripples!
