Tessin is an amazing place. It's a charming Italian restaurant situated on the ground floor of the lodge in Avon Center. The ambiance is quite intimate, and the space is fairly snug...

This is a wonderful little restaurant in Avon! It has a cozy atmosphere and operates limited hours (Wednesday to Monday, 5 PM to 9 PM). I've been attempting to call since Tuesday to make a reservation...

Year after year, this restaurant remains one of our top choices. Everything served is fresh, made from scratch, and absolutely delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to assist.

I ordered the chicken piccata and a salmon dish (which isn’t shown in the photo). Unfortunately, the chicken was bland and swimming in oil, making it nearly inedible. The noodles that accompanied it were dry, tasteless, and didn’t have any sauce or seasoning. The salmon was initially served overcooked and dry, so I sent it back. The replacement was barely seared on the outside and completely raw in the middle. If we wanted sushi, we would have gone somewhere else. It’s hard to understand how this restaurant has received so many positive reviews. I recommend finding a different place for dinner!

I have to say, when you order a pizza, 40% of it shouldn't be tasteless, dry, and inedible. The crust made up almost half of the pizza and had zero flavor. We were so hungry that my girlfriend managed to eat the edible parts, but in the end, it felt more like a light appetizer than a meal. The pizza was called prosciutto de fichi or something similar, and it had way too much arugula and hardly any balsamic. Overall, it was really underwhelming. On the other hand, I ordered the tagliatelle carbonara with scallops, and that was delicious. The bread, however, was just mediocre.
