Colarusso's Cafe - Avoca

I really don't know what's going on at this cafe but it has taken a nose dive this past year. I have been going to this restaurant for over 25 years and the pizza has gotten so bad we couldn't believe it. we tried 3 More times this year to see if it changed like it used to be but it didn't. I actually had 4 of my relatives that had anniversaries go to this place because of my recommendations and they told me they will never go back. I was so embarrassed over this that I gave colarusso's the benefit of dault and went back to purchase their pizza and it was that bad. my relatives had other items like the fish and it was served half raw. when you go to a place for as long as I and my wife has been going you know if something changes and this wasn't for the Good. we will never be back to this place and we are looking to go back to old forge like we did over 30+ years ago.

Great pizza, white to die for, creamy, delicious, hot and

I haven't had their wings in quite a while so i ordered some for super bowl Sunday. They were fantastic! Probably the best I've ever had. A couple weeks later I got them again and they were the WORST WINGS I EVER HAD. Overcooked, dry, chewy and very little sauce. Must have had a better cook on the day of the super bowl.

It's all about the sauce. Barmaid was charming attentive.
