This place has character! I was confused at first, as the menu didn't appear to offer much, but a full vegan menu was provided on request. The food was tasty and well priced and the beers were good too. I would have given 5 stars if they had served wine by the glass instead of by the bottle only.
One of the best Mexicans I've ever been to, with homemade mole and all the very rich food. I want to go back.
My partner and I found this restaurant online while staying in Aviles and it turned out to be a highlight of our time in an area full of highlights (the beautiful old city vibe and the coast). The food was amazing, we ordered the same tacos both nights (vegetarian for me and pork for my partner). They have a huge list of Mexican beers, margaritas, and dishes. The owners and staff were professional and kind and we were grateful to have the chance to meet them. The owner encouraged us to practice our spanish even though her english was better. Love this restaurant and hope to return in this lifetime. Should add that they don't need our reviews--the place was packed to the brim both nights within an hour of opening. This is outrageously delicioso comida!
We travelled half around the world and ate a lot of ‘Mexican’ food. But half of those places can’t compare to this little restaurant. We took the menu of the day which was a vegan menu. Normally we need to have something with meat but we were very surprised with all the flavours. Our Spanish isn’t good enough to know in detail what we had but everything was sooo good. Full of new flavours that we never had before. This was real mexican food way beyond the regular tacos, burritos or nacho cheese plates. Our compliments to the chef because we were very surprised and loved everything! The margarita is very good as well. We had some fine dining experiences before and some dishes and flavours were even better than some Michelin star restaurants.
