Les Baguettes d’Or is a small restaurant that you find behind the St Antoine church in the old district of Avignon. It is nice because behind the church there is a terrace, it is a very quiet pedestrian neighborhood and it is good to eat outside. There are menus half a day, and you can also order take-out food, with a 10% discount on the letter. It includes dishes of duck, smoked, in hot sauce, or bamboo and coconut... View all feedback.

There are some fish, but the class depends on what's on the market this day. bitter fish, curry. They're salsa dishes, joto less than five euros. You can eat for 10 euros a half day, a little more à la carte at night.
Great service with inexpensive, large and tasty dishes. Recommend the soup dishes, the others are good too but might be too large portion for one person
You get what you pay for here - oversized portions which are inedible - cold service and basically a big waste of money for inedible food. If you sit out on the terrace prepare to be attacked by pigeons whist eating. Gross.
We stumbled upon this restaurant and had misgivings about going in as the appearance is modest. However, the food was absolutely superb - one of the best meals we have had on our trip. Highly recommended.
After being assaulted by tourist trap places or high priced boutique restaurants, we decided to visit Les Baguettes for a change of pace. Twice actually. Our first night was soups only. One Pho w/boeuf that was quite tasty with lots of ginger flavor, and the other was the duck won-tan soup with thin egg noodles. Both were satisfying although kind of high sodium. On second visit I ordered an Assiette du Chef and found it below average. Chicken skewers tasted okay, the salad was over dressed, the nem was so-so and the rice was warm and lumpy. For value, it is super cheap and a nice break from over-priced food elsewhere. The staff is friendly. But in terms of raw quality, it is barely average compared to the many Asian restaurants we've visited. They have food to-go as well and the sign advertises Vietnamese, Chinese, and Thai cuisines. The 2nd night we visited, a lot of people got the sizzling planks dishes and they looked and smelled good.
