Unfortunately taxi drivers in avignon are rare (we have often said this, but persistent). we contacted several companies from 11 o'clock even the restaurant to say we need to cancel sadly and he also tried for us, but the same answer. he felt sorry for us, although unfortunately we couldn't eat here because no taxi and mama with a wheelchair had a long walk over the bridge to the island, they were friendly and helpful and hope we rent a car next time.

We arrived at 8h40 and there was only a couple of... read more I went with family during winter time. The online reservation was available either before 7h45 or after 9h00. We arrived at 8h40 and there was only a couple of tables occupied. I don't understand why the online service didn't propose other time slots in between....Anyway, the starter had tapenade and fish pâté, both were very salt. We ordered daube de bœuf as mains course, which arrived cold. The food was below average and too expensive for what it is. After being 3 times to Le Bercail before, I came back again for the view, but had a bad experience with the food. Besides they put a plastic cover over part of the terrasse for winter season, which just ruined the view. Will not come back nor recommend.
