Comptoir Saint Didier - Avignon

This is a fantastic cafe, great coffee and the service is superb. The lady who served us speaks excellent English and couldn't have been nicer. Its also a wonderful location.

We ordered cups of coffee, but forgot to mention that we would also like to have some water. As the waitress brought us the coffee and we kindly asked for some water she replied, "You know you got to say it right away or the waitress will be angry!"I know plenty of better places in Avignon to stop for a coffee where you will actually not get yelled at over a glass of water.

Firstly the table was set for two but missing serviettes. I asked the waiter to set table properly. He waived his hand while still walking.... you only get one!!!! Don't bother with this place... you get better service else where....

Nice food and environnement but the service was quite long. The owner of the restaurant could improve his vocabulary

WOW, Wow, wow, they have the best Flan (Quiche) in the World, the Flan was to Die for. Unfortunately we only managed to have lunch here once on our 3 night stay in Avignon but it was Sooooooooooooooo nice, Seriously the Quiche Lorraine is the best I have ever had. We sat in the sun and had a lovely lunch here. The setting is lovely, the staff are lovely and well, as for the Quiche. ............All very reasonably priced to, it's open in the evening to but just for drinks unfortunately, popular place with the locals to , which speaks volumes.
