Best bar in Avignon by a country mile. Theo has great knowledge of beer and wine, but above all is a great host. Rugby on the TV too! What's not to like?
A super idea for the beer lovers! Take your card and your glass and have a round of different kind of beer in a self service chill atmosphere.
We drove to Avignon, and I had quite a difficult experience in finding parking. As I walked to our Airbnb apartment with two large suitcases in tow, I passed this place. After I dropped the luggage and wiped the sweat from my forehead, we walked back to Beer O Clock. I drowned my self pity in 4 delightful craft beers! The bartender (sorry I didn't catch his name) became my new beer best friend. He knew all the beers and made great recommendations. I will probably be back tomorrow, and every night we are in Avignon! They have appetizers and snacks, but no meals, but they make great recommendations for food. These guys are awesome, I highly recommend them!

I have spent almost 40 years in the beer industry form brewing, retail, distributing and consuming I have done it all. I have to say this place rates in my personal top 5 bars in the world. The staff are friendly welcoming the introduction to serving yourself was a revelation. The international range of beers was magnificent and very well chosen. My wife was equally impressed with the range of wines. We're going back in the autumn and I can't wait.
