small menu with fresh seasonal options from the region, big wine list and lots of tables in the garden available for reservation. The square where it is located is also very noce. View all feedback.
What Gérard Picard doesn't like about Au Jardin Des Carmes:
I can only say...really disappointed!!!! I was expecting a good restaurant after looking at the reviews on TripAdvisor...unfortunately I found vero bad plates as you can see in the pictures: the fish was full of a strange white thing, it also included the skin and...the taste was really bad. The rabbit was not bad but it was coming work broccolis...and they were not cooked at all. I am also disappointed for the check... View all feedback.
They can say how good a business is, how it reacts to unhappiness. despite a heavy thunder and resulting blackouts, the workers and chefin the au jardin des carmes were fantastic: everyone had enough light and continued to bring delicious meals. our meal was delicious: the beet root goat ravioli, buratta and fish cure were special highlights. a wonderful night, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits avignon.
Very nice place, cozy, friendly staff. and eating is simply incredible! the prices are very correct! a restaurant you should visit

I am also disappointed for the check (90€ and for the food...I do not understand the rate of this restaurant that I can fairly say...the worst of my life!
Courtyard very pleasant, staff all friendly and attentive. Food was excellent, with great flavour and attention to detail. Good value too. Highly recommended.
We spontaneously managed to get a table at this wonderful cute little restaurant when everything else was booked out. The waiter was warm and welcoming, always with a smile on his face and very friendly and attentive. The menu is small and we first were...a little surprised about the dishes. For example, it says “aioli” on the card as a starter. No further description with what it is served. for those who don’t know, aioli is just a garlic mayonnaise sauce . The dishes are described in their simplest form, but let me tell you, you’re in for a suprise! And we loved that concept. The aioli came with a tender and delicious cod filet, on a bed of perfectly cooked vegetables with some homemade, not too strong but perfectly balanced aioli sauce. The dishes generally are perfected and made with so much love for detail. Also try the rice cake as a dessert! Sounds simple but again, what arrives will blow your mind! Made with love and so many different ingredients. Every dish absolutely extended our expectations in what we thought would arrive when we read the menu. The price/value is outstanding and overall it was a wonderful evening in this cosy little garden. 5*
