SOHO Asian Bar Grill - Aventura

The service at this restaurant was terrible. We had to wait over an hour after our reservation time to be seated, and when we requested cups and knives, they informed us that they did not have any available.

This was my first and last time at this restaurant. I arrived on time for a 6:45 reservation with my elderly grandmother and three children, only to wait 45 minutes to be seated. Despite speaking to the manager, we were constantly overlooked as other tables were seated before us. Once we finally got our food and drinks, the waitress was great and the food was tasty. However, the experience took a turn for the worse when we ordered a cake for my 5-year-old's birthday. Despite waiting 30 minutes for dessert, it never arrived with the sparkler or birthday song promised. We asked for the bill, but even that was not provided to us. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience and it is clear that this restaurant is poorly run. We will not be returning.

We had a big group and Michael, our server, was fantastic! He handled everything with skill, patience, and a smile. The food was delicious!

The service is wonderful, the food is terrific. You can't find a better spot in Miami.

My experience from the very beginning was fascinating. The host by the name of Nina is the face of this restaurant, she welcome me professionally with a smile and made me fee welcome the moment we made eye contact and asked for my reservation time. The were super busy but my wait time was almost nothing she kept checking with me and remaining me that I was next, she sat me down and the server came right after took my order promptly, food was great and fantastic, price justify food and service. As I was leaving the host remember me by name and invite me to come back. Thank you Nina for welcoming me and my future wife promptly even that I was running late since my reservation was at 8:15pm.
