Me and my concubine Miranda s... read more We used to live in La Rode Basse, just up the road, 1974-1977! This resto was home from home. Jacqueline was, I believe, the boss. Me and my concubine Miranda spent happy hours in the kitchen. I believe their daughter is now in charge? The menu has not changed much, it was honest local food, great value. I hope they read this, but I may write via their website.

It is a simple family run hotel-restaurant. Do not expect a proper mis-en-place: this family adheres to a culinary code of a past age, and I was happy to have been their guest.
