We visited twice as we really enjoyed it on our first visit. We had beef croquettes and patties for starter very nice , followed by Black Pork Secrets and pork with rice delicious. Our lovely waitress advised on an excellent bottle of red wine to accompany the food The second visit we had some codfish cakes and shared the seafood risotto with a nice bottle of white wine (Lei Cheia. The food again was good. Really good value for money and very friendly service we had some lovely chats with the Brazilian waitress. Thank you

Fresh fish, rice with be... read more We came across the restaurant by chance. Don’t be put off by the downstairs bar. Upstairs is a gem and a really great value restaurant. Fresh fish, rice with beans and tomato rice were all excellent. Desserts looked great too but we were too full!

I should have realized that something was different because there was no body eating there. I had their typical dish, suggested by the waiter, “bacalhau com natas”. To be honest the portion is big but this is the worst bacalhau com natas I had. It’s bland and tasteless. We also ordered some chorizo and it was not worth it either. I regret I went there. Food in Portugal is awesome but this place is not a representation of what you want to get.
