The food is excellent though at this point the highly predictable menu needs some refreshing. I was somewhat disappointed in my beef short rib entree this year as it was very salty.....not the usual excellence we've experienced in past years. Otherwise, this is a special place in Avalon and not to be missed. Book early as it fills quickly even on the shoulder seasons in early summer and fall.
