I had another wonderful dining experience at Il Posto on a peaceful evening. The special broccoli and cheddar soup was outstanding—much lighter than other broccoli and cheddar soups I've tried. The Barramundi fish special served over linguini was exceptional, and the fettuccine Bolognese was very good as well. The cannoli were standard, nothing spectacular. Unlike many evenings, the restaurant wasn’t busy, so the noise level was quite manageable. However, the new space felt a bit too brightly lit.
We travel to Avalon several times a year and we always include a meal at Il Posto. Amazing food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere makes this our favorite restaurant on the 7 mile island.

Dinner was delicious, as always! I almost always choose a special, even though the regular menu items are quite tempting.
