Finding a restaurant that has both great Greek and Italian food was a happy day for our family. My son who loves his pizza raved about the Margherita pizza and was thrilled to have hummus as well. There are 2 convenient wine stores across the street perfect for BYOB. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Meltemi Pizza and Family Restaurant:
We got takeaway vine leaves, taziki, tabouli with quinoa and Istanbul salad. The vines leave tasted amazing. The leaves were delicious and the rice light and fluffy. There were tiny which increased ration of vine leaf to rice. About 2 cm long and 1/2cm width. I adored them. Byo so grog is cheap had a surcharge per head for corkage but worth it food sensational especially the pumpkin salad as a side really enjoyed it Very rustic and simple but great place
Our first time visit to Meltemi with a couple of friends. Very pleased we chose Meltemi. The restaurant looks pretty ordinary from the street but the food quality and service were impeccable. The menu is a mix of Greek and Italian. Very tasty and reasonably priced.
The best Greek/ pizza restaurants I have been to on the northern beaches. Great good, great service. Have dined here multiple times and will continue to return
The Moussaka was a big serve and utterly melt in the mouth delicious. Salad was simple and tasty. The more complex pizzas are densely packed with everything you want and don't want, made to order. We love thin pizza bases and these were extra thin but the toppings didn't slide off. Perfect Aussie pizza. Well done Melteme, keep up the good work.
The food is always beautifully prepared and generous servings. BYO without a charge and a huge range of choices in Italian and Greek. This isn't an intimate restaurant with subdued lighting but it is a very comfortable place for family, friends, easy and relaxed eating. My grandchildren love it. I highly recommend the vine leaves, meze plate, souvlaki and greek coffee. May not be so popular with the type of diner who likes a bit of squid ink and activated almond milk but it is great for people who want to relax and eat great real food at prices that are more than reasonable. A real breath of fresh air!
