As someone who dresses in an alternative style, I did attract a few curious glances, but that's to be expected. The coffee was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant with a great crowd. They prepare their gravy from scratch, and there's a fantastic selection of pies. I'll definitely be returning a few more times.

I was intrigued by their mushrooms because they resemble the best fried mushrooms I have ever had at a Carbondale restaurant no longer in business. I am pleased to say they did not disappoint!!! These are a little bigger, a little more moist and not quite as seasoned as the others but they hit the spot! If the others were a 10, these are a solid 9.2. We are never... read more This evening we had the Valentine’s Day special chose the 12 oz New York strip, baked potato, salad dessert. It was very good reasonable in price. We are never disappointed in our meals at Brunzees. We were shocked at how the steaks were tender juicy….since not normal menu item. We brought our friends and they were very pleased as well! We are proud of our small town restaurant. Great job!
