Noticing Katsu on the menu, we decided to order the chicken katsu don along with a roll and some sushi. However, the chicken katsu was disappointing; it lacked flavor and the breading was soggy, falling short of the crispy texture we expected. The sushi was decent—not bad, but there’s definitely room for improvement. We did enjoy the dragon roll, although some of the avocado was a bit browned. While the prices are reasonable, the quality of the food doesn't quite match up, especially considering the somewhat unfriendly service we experienced.

We absolutely loved the Diablo, Fire Cracker, Red Dragon, and Spicy Tataki rolls—they were all delicious and fresh. The Diablo roll had a wonderful combination of flavors, especially with the scallops! We also noticed a Hawaiian Volcano roll at another table that was actually lit up; it looked amazing! They probably do a thorough cleaning in the morning because it definitely smelled like cleaning chemicals. The staff was welcoming and attentive. We ordered a chirashi bowl and beef bento box. The bento box $15) comes with miso soup, salad, tempura, and 4 pieces of California roll. Definitely bang for your buck! It was so good. The sashimi pieces in the chirashi bowl $19) was fresh, perfectly cut, and plentiful, There are many lunch combinations offered at a great price. We'll definitely be coming here more often.
