Description

Whataburger, once celebrated for its quick service and delicious burgers, now faces significant challenges that have disappointed loyal customers. Patrons frequently report excessive wait times, often exceeding 30 minutes, even with pre-orders through the app. Despite the promise of efficiency, miscommunications and indifferent staff exacerbate the frustration, with multiple incorrect orders being a common theme. While the food, such as the biscuits and gravy and iconic burgers, maintains a high quality, the overall dining experience suffers from lackluster service and management. As competition rises nearby, improvements in training and customer service are essential for restoring its former glory.

Even though I placed my order in person, it was wrong three times! The manager was unable to correct the mistake at the register. They simply don’t pay attention! I ended up having to accept a version different from what I originally ordered. The staff appeared indifferent, more absorbed in their phones and social media than in helping customers. The manager didn’t seem to care either. The service here is extremely poor! With P-Terry's and In-N-Out Burger nearby, I definitely won’t be coming back to this Whataburger.

I noticed that the coffee urn in the lobby was empty and labeled as decaf. When I asked for regular coffee, the manager told me they don't offer decaf. After I pointed out that the urn was empty, they prepared a new batch, but it still had the decaf label, which I think should be fixed. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, which were quite good, and there was more than enough gravy for one biscuit.

This Whataburger used to be fantastic! The service was quick and efficient. However, during my last few visits, it has been extremely slow, with wait times exceeding 30 minutes for food. The app does a great job of estimating when you can expect your order, but even after 10 minutes past the expected time, our food still hadn't been delivered. My pregnant wife had to go inside to check on it. They really need to reopen their service training centers because this place definitely needs some improvement.

If you're thinking about using the drive-thru, prepare for a long wait. It always seems to take quite a while to get your food there. However, you can take advantage of the app to enjoy discounts, earn points, and place your order in advance to save time. Alternatively, you might want to bypass the line by choosing curbside pickup.

Even after ordering in person in the dine-in, they got my order wrong 3 times! Then the manager (or mismanager) himself couldn't correct the register errorThey don't listen! As is, I had to accept a version of what I ordered. The kids there: they don't care. They are too busy with Facebook or whatever on their phones. And the mismanagement? He doesn't care either. So incredibly bad service here! So, how can you trust the food? With P-Terrys and In-Out burger so near, I'll NEVER be back to this whataburger...
