Via 313 stands out as a vibrant gem in Austin's pizza scene, renowned for its Detroit-style pies that boast a crispy, golden crust and a variety of unique toppings. Patrons rave about the four-cheese and Kadillac pizzas, as well as the outstanding gluten-free options. While some diners have noted the occasional soggy slice, the overall experience remains overwhelmingly positive, highlighted by attentive service and a friendly atmosphere. The menu also features distinct items like the Marinara pizza, a vegan option rich with flavor, making it a must-visit for both pizza aficionados and those with dietary restrictions.

Cheese bread is crispy but the cheese is off putting in this dish. Caesar is perfect. Pizza is perfect amount of crispness to cheese and chewy dough. I appreciated how much cheese was on there. Typically Brooklyn pizzas aren?t heavy on the cheese but this one has enough to pull with each bite. The meat toppings are higher quality than most places. The pizza is made fresh for each order so it takes about 25-30 minutes to bake, but it is well worth the wait

I went to one of their food trucks and was blown away by their pizza. Detroi-style is cooked in a square pan and both crispy and fluffy at the same time. Sauce on top. Have a few vegan options. Delicious.

Parking is available in the rear garage with entrance on West 31st or Guadalupe. Via 313 (the area code for Detroit) uses Follow Your Heart Mozz with a coconut oil base. This seems to be a better tasting choice than the Daiya Mozz used at some other pizzerias around town.

I have had many Detroit style before and I think via 313?s pizzas were very tasty. I liked that they allowed you to put two style of pizzas together, which made it easier for me to try more styles of pizzas on the menu. My favorite was the Cadillac butwe added arugula on top. The Cadillac is savory with little hints of sweetness to it. The Detroiter and the Rocket were prettysimilar in taste to me. The Hawaiian was delicious too but I wished that the pineapples were a little sweeter. Maybe throughthe baking process the sweetness was baked out. I will be coming back to this place again since the food was good and parkingwas a breeze.

Sat at the bar for Friday lunch and had Detroit style for the 1st time. It was quite good, they cook it a pan and so the crust fries up nice and crispy around the softer dough. I had the Detroiter, with pepperoni underneath a thick layer of mozzarella, topped with a different pepperoni and marinara sauce. It's a bit messy to eat, and one could be excused for eating it with afork and knife. The Caesar salad was solid, but be forewarned it's forward with anchovy flavor. I'm surprised they don't havebetter croutons with how good their pizza crust is. It came with a crispy fried cheese flat that I enjoyed. Tony was affableand attentive, and I appreciated his communication skills. They have a dozen or so beers on tap. They also offer rain water, which is kinda hilarious. It was a nice place and I plan on bringing friends next time.
