What Kate dislikes about Utea Pho:
I think for a Viet place in West Campus, UTea Pho is not bad, but it’s not high quality food. It’s affordable and quick with a very convenient location right in the heart of West Campus. The seating is limited but they are quite free outside of dinner hours. Service is really friendly! And they give a free bottle of water.I’ve gotten the egg noodles recently, and I like how they give a lot of protein, but the shrimp... View all feedback.
Bang for your buck kind of place! This place is near the UTAustim dorms and filled with college students. It could be difficult to find parking nearby. We were craving fried rice after a late night comedy show in HEB center. Very few places were open at the time. This being near university, was open late at night. There were so many students eating pho when we went there. I ordered tofu basil fried rice and spouse ordered shrimp basil fried rice. It was very good. Definitely ask for the chili oil to add some extra heat. I would highly recommend this place to vegan/vegetarian.
Pluckers was crazy busy so we stopped by here instead we’re so glad that we did! The service was great; we had multiple people checking up on us throughout our meal. The fried rice had SO much flavor. So good, would highly recommend the rice! The vermicelli bowl was huge and fresh. You HAVE to get the cream puffs, they were deliciously light and airy. Everything shown here 4 waters was only $33! TL;DR: good affordable food friendly, attentive service
This food was incredible! They offer a great selection of vegan options, all of which are delicious. I also tried a taro smoothie with boba, and I believe it's vegan too. The waiter mentioned the ingredients were just ice, syrup, and flavor powder, so there’s no milk involved. If you're looking to try something new, definitely check this place out—you won’t be disappointed!
